CAFED has been working in 130 hamlets of 18 Revenue villages and having 138 Women Self Help Groups. The program aims to conduct regular monthly meetings, linkage to the banks, promoting them to get loans from the banks, monitoring them to regular repayment of the loans and making aware them on their rights.
CAFED had initiated that the children to learn their rights and make them to be self reliant. There are 60 children parliaments in the villages. This aims at that children will be the instruments for the regular attendance of the teachers in their school, clean and green at schools, promotion of vegetable gardens, cultivating the attitude of learning experience and leadership qualities.
This initiation is for the tribal women farmers who were struggling for the better yield of paddy in their field. This is to encourage them to cope up in difficult circumstance when there is lack of rain or no proper water facilities for the cultivation. 50 farmers have come forward to go for new intervention and the process is in track.
The children from the tribal communities because of their economic background drop out from the schools and go for the daily labor works. CAFED has initiated residential bridge camps for them. So far CAFED has given education to the 1570 dropout children and main streamed them.
